I am a real estate developer and a general contractor from Boston and in October of 2012, I met Jim LaVallee to discuss the possibility of having LaVallee Construction build a home for my family in Fort Lauderdale. In December of 2012, after receiving three bids, I contracted with Jim.

Jim was able to get the ball rolling with foundations etc. without a building permit, as our plans had not yet been approved by the City of Fort Lauderdale. His contacts and rapport with the requisite permitting authorities in Fort Lauderdale are certainly assets to his company and its clients.

LaVallee Construction employed high quality subcontractors that did a fine job in helping create our fabulous new home. Jim was able to get the project completed by December 25th 2013, so that my family could enjoy the Christmas and New Year holiday at our new home.
